González was born in Madrid on March 7, 1971. From the age of 4, the youngest of seven siblings attended "Jesús Maestro" at Santa Teresa de Jesús Company. He studied there until the age of 13 years.
His parents are members of Opus Dei. González received the First Sacrament of Communion in Rome.
On May 9, 1979, the day after receiving First Communion, he met and shook hands with Pope John Paul II. He got blessings and kisses from the Pope.
On February 4, 1985, Gonzalez was diagnosed by a doctor that he had a malignant spinal cancer that would make him paralyzed in no time.
Since the deadly disease was found in his body, Gonzalez underwent four long-term surgeries and long-term medical care for 10 months.
In published biographies of his life, María Victoria Molins and Miguel Ángel Monge illustrate how Gonzales's greatness received such tremendous pain. He was very calmly showing the excitement on his face.
This youth also exemplifies the extraordinary faith by offering that pain to the Church, the Holy Father, and the faithful.
The prayer he often takes is "Jesus, I want to feel better, I want to be healed; but if you do not want that, I want what you want. "
On December 5, 1985, González died at the age of 14. The story of his life so extraordinary testimony that when he died, his body was buried in the Church of the San Martín de Tours diocese in Madrid.
The process of beatification, the Church's recognition of Gonzalez as a saint, was introduced in Madrid on April 14, 1993 and closed on June 1, 1994. It was then continued to the Vatican on 30 June of the same year.
The decision on the acknowledgment of the goodness of Gonzales 'life was given by the Sacred Congregation for the Saints' Performances on 11 November 1994.
But the subsequent process was delayed until July 4, 2018, Pope Francis endorsed a letter of recognition given by the Holy Congregation for the Performance of the Saints.
The decree signed by the Holy Father was the first step for the Gonzalez beatification process.
After the beatification, there is still one more process to the canonization where one gets the full recognition of the Church to be designated a saint or saint.
From the Alexia Beatification Causal Association, the process followed and testimony was collected on the help given in the annual bulletin.
